Mini: separate but inseparable

this puzzle is dedicated to 6-Across, my sibling. most of the clues in this puzzle reference our childhood.

i recently binged how to get to heaven from belfast, and (no spoilers) one of the phrases repeated by the central characters in the show is 'separate but inseparable', to mark a deep, almost familial relationship among the characters who went through the past events that kicked off the show. it immediately made me think of my younger sibling and our bond despite how far apart we now live.
